I turn 40 this week, and somehow fittingly, this is also my fifth birthday as LegsForeverXO. Come find me out in the universe for a full week of art, pleasure, performance, celebration and a little birthday foolishness.

There’s a difference between being influenced by another artist and taking a shortcut through their development. Some thoughts on copying, artistic lack, authorship, AI, and what a living code for an open artistic commons might look like.

One of the questions I sometimes ask my lovers is deceptively simple: Do you know that you’re beautiful? An essay about beauty, ugliness, desire, politics, curiosity, and what we can learn about one another through the ways we see.

August rolls on with burlesque, cosplay, art, Babydolls and a little naughty bingo. Come along for the second half of the month, plus a peek at what I’m creating behind the curtain.

Tales of the Cocktail is one of my favorite weeks in New Orleans. Here are the brands, cocktails, parties, and event production details that left the biggest impression on me this year.

We were lovers once. This is my closing ceremony. A final blessing for what we shared, and an open hand toward the love still to come.

Not because everything is perfect.
But because you’re no longer building your experience around fixing it.
